KIDS CAMPS

The Village Square is excited to offer camps for school aged children, Grades JK to Grade 6.

We run a high-energy program that promises to engage children of all ages! At The Village Square we care deeply for every child that attends our camps. We can host up to 24 campers at a time, & have a maximum ratio of 1-8. Following a tremendously successful March Break Camp, we are all so excited for our first full week of summer!

DIRECTOR : RL

RL is the owner of The Village Square. She is a mom of two boys with a passion for creating fun, inclusive spaces where kids can learn, connect, and grow. She loves bringing high energy, creativity, and lots of hands-on experiences to every camp. She loves seeing children grow in confidence and friendships and building lasting memories! Her diverse background has included working with children & youth for over 2 decades, including at-risk youth. She has studied music/voice & theatre. When she’s not at The Village Square, you’ll likely find her at the rink or ballfield being her son’s biggest cheerleader & she looks forward to being your child’s cheerleader at camp this summer!

ASSISTANT DIRECTOR : ELAINE

Elaine is a proud mom of three boys and has been working as an Early Childhood Educator and Educational Assistant since 2017. Passionate about supporting children and helping them learn, grow, and build confidence in themselves every day, her caring, patient, and encouraging nature allows her to create strong connections .

When she’s not working, Elaine can usually be found at the hockey rink or lacrosse arena cheering on her boys and their teammates. She values community, teamwork, and creating positive experiences for kids.

Elaine is excited to work alongside RL bringing her enthusiasm, dedication, and love for helping others to the team.

SENIOR COUNSELLOR: Mady

Mady has lived in Arthur her entire life. and is so grateful to be able to say she's a part of this community. She started babysitting around the community when she was 12 and has loved every minute of it. She plays tier 1 softball in Waterloo but started playing softball here in Arthur as an Arthur Twister. She has also been involved in the arts, having done musical theatre and competitive dance for around 7 years . She loves being active and can’t wait to get involved in all the outdoor fun and activities with the kids.
